Nestling at the top of a hill, Maison Cécile offers breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux. This former 18th-century Provencal farmhouse has been tastefully and meticulously restored to create a warm, modern home with top-of-the-range amenities.
The spacious villa (330 m²) can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people in its 6 bedrooms. One of its major assets is the huge 12-metre swimming pool with its breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux.
The decor is original and warm, the work of owners Marie and Antoine, who wanted to give the villa the atmosphere of a family home.

Interiors with their own authentic decor and modern comforts

Perfectly renovated, this beautiful Provencal farmhouse has retained its historic character but is now perfectly equipped for your comfort. It is in a wonderfully quiet location, just outside the village of Pernes-les-Fontaines, but is not isolated. You'll also be just 10 minutes from l'Isle sur la Sorgue.
The interior is both charming and relaxed, brimming with treasures gleaned from flea markets and sometimes reinvigorated family furniture.
You'll love the cool stone walls in summer. On the ground floor, the sitting area around the fireplace resembles a small cabinet of curiosities, with its frames, silver candlesticks and glass bells. With sofas on either side of a wooden coffee table, the lounge is the ideal place to chat, leaf through magazines or read books. As with almost every room in the house, you can also admire the magnificent exposed beams.
A door from the living room leads you into the separate modern kitchen with its dining table. In this friendly, well-appointed space, you'll find everything you need to prepare and enjoy delicious meals: dishwasher, microwave, cooking utensils, fridge, grill, hob, Nespresso and filter coffee maker, oven, toaster and more!
The six rooms at ‘Maison Cécile’ are comfortable and equipped with top-of-the-range hotel-style bedding. All rooms are on the first floor: three rooms have two king-size single beds (1 mx 2 m) and three rooms have a super king-size double bed (2 mx 2 m).
Upstairs you'll also find a charming lounge with sofas, a TV and shelves full of books and magazines.
Two bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower and bath, as well as a separate toilet.
The third bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and toilet.
The fourth bedroom has a private shower and double washbasin.
Finally, the fifth and sixth bedrooms share a fourth bathroom with WC.
There is a fifth bathroom in the pool house, as well as 2 separate toilets in the communal living areas.

The grounds are divided into three contemporary outdoor areas. The first is a pergola planted among the stones in the courtyard between the old farm buildings. This delightful space has two tables perfect for al fresco dining, unless you prefer the summer terrace in the shade of the farmhouse with its low tables and sofa overlooking the garden.
Or follow the large stepping stones down to the blue waters of the huge swimming pool surrounded by lush vegetation. Think of all the good times you'll have here... The vast covered terrace by the pool offers breathtaking views and has everything you need to relax: tables, benches, lights, bar and barbecue. Around the pool, relax and perfect your tan on the sun loungers.

I also believe that when providing feedback the positive comments are as valuable as the things that need addressing. The extra touches you have added - the pool floats, the welcome gifts, the care and attention given to the interior and exterior of the house are very gratefully received. Everyone who has visited the property to carry out repairs, maintain the garden, maintain the pool, clean and change sheets have all been friendly, professional and a joy to meet. I would like to highlight Margot especially who is so incredibly welcoming, responsive and diligent. She is a credit to you. The property itself is so well thought out. The pool area with its kitchen, bathroom and barbecue is a wonderful space to enjoy. The house is charming, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished. We have especially enjoyed the many seating areas which have meant we can relax separatelytogether during our stay. The upstairs lounge with its TV and sofas and air conditioning has saved the grandparents on hot afternoons. The downstairs seating both indoors and outdoors in comfortable, spacious and shaded. What an absolutely incredible villa and experience! We stayed here for two weeks with our family and had such an amazing stay. The house itself is spacious and beyond expectations. All of the bedrooms are large and well decorated. The view is stunninsee more
What an absolutely incredible villa and experience! We stayed here for two weeks with our family and had such an amazing stay. The house itself is spacious and beyond expectations. All of the bedrooms are large and well decorated. The view is stunning and the pool and gardens were so beautiful and the perfect place to relax in the afternoons. The Mas du Venaissin is only a 5 minute drive into town, making it very close to supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and shops. I have to mention that the hosts were incredible and extremely helpful. They organized a baby cot, high chair and even a babysitter for our little girl. What a memorable stay, we'll be sure to be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our seventh June stay at Maison Cécile (previously called Le Mas du Venaissin). The one huge improvement this year was the addition of high speed Starlink Internet. Especially on an extended stay where I had to work some days althosee more
Thoroughly enjoyed our seventh June stay at Maison Cécile (previously called Le Mas du Venaissin). The one huge improvement this year was the addition of high speed Starlink Internet. Especially on an extended stay where I had to work some days although I would encourage visitors not to work but enjoy the surroundings. Starlink provided near flawless high speed connectivity as did the home WiFi coverage throughout the house and outdoor areas including covered poolside tables where we ate dinner almost every night.
Speaking of poolside eating, the aging wood roof covering the seating adjacent to the pool/outdoor kitchen was replaced with a metal roof and the bees/wasps which previously seemed to make their way through the wood seams were now gone. The first week we had a few nights of thunderstorms, providing some much needed water to the hillsides and local farms. One night was an unexpected hailstorm, enough to accumulate on the ground. The hailstorm was the one time the Starlink Internet service had a brief outage. If you want a modern luxury retreat, Le Répertoire has other houses in the area we have viewed that might be better choices, but if you want to enjoy a classic French farmhouse experience, make the short driveeven walk into Pernes in the morning for fresh croissants, shop at the almost daily nearby farmers markets to enjoy cooking at the outdoor kitchen & BBQ (there is indoor kitchen too), and enjoy the privacy of a hilltop location at end of quarter mile unpaved road surrounded by nothing but farmland and forest, Maison Cécile is the place for you. Bon service du début à la fin . Excellentes vacances dans un endroit vraiment charmant. |

Il a manqué pour notre groupe qui comptait deux personnes âgées ( 85 et 88 ans) des mains courantes dans les escaliers de l’entrée dont les marches sont très hautes ! Très difficile pour elles de rentrer et sortir .

La décoration des lieux est magnifique, entre un style ancien et contemporain. Les suites sont spacieuses et totalement confortables. Quant à la piscine, elle est simplement fabuleuse. Merci à toute l'équipe du Répertoire pour ces vacances incroyables. Merci à Youssef, le chef à domicile qui nous a préparé tous ces succulents repas. Merci à Lyès et à Gilles d'avoir été aux petits oignons avec nous. C'était bien plus qu'une location de vacances, c'était une vraie expérience. Le prix est certes plus élevé qu'une simple location, mais ça n'a surtout rien à voir. Cela ressemble davantage à un séjour dans un hôtel de luxe : vous ne vous souciez de rien.

C’est un véritable havre de paix avec des jolies terrasses, une grande piscine et des équipements haut de gamme. Les chambres sont spacieuses, dotées d'une literie que vous n'oublierez pas et surtout très confortables. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Les vieilles pierres font complètement le charme de cette demeure. Le logement est doté de toutes les commodités nécessaires et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons adoré la grande piscine avec sa petite partie pataugeoire pour les plus petits. La terrasse couverte, la cuisine et la salle de bain d'extérieurs sont très pratiques.
